Cheat apps on Android (Pro)
Goal: You will learn how to notice known cheat apps installed on the same device as your game.
The problem
A player does not have to edit your app. They can install a memory tool next to it and change coins, health, or other values from outside the game.
The solution
Use the Android Device Cheating Detector. It is already on the Anti Cheat Monitor prefab. It reads user apps on the device and compares their package names with a list you write. System apps are ignored.
Step 1: List the apps you do not want
Open Edit > Project Settings > GuardingPearSoftware > AntiCheat, on the Android tab. Go to Android - Device App - Settings.
Turn on Blacklist device apps and enter package names.

Blocked device apps.
The shipped examples are:
com.cheating.app, a sample name.catch_.me_.if_.you_.can_, the package name of GameGuardian.
Replace the sample with the package names you actually care about.
Note
Verify development builds is off by default. While it is off, this check skips the Editor and development builds.
The result
If one of those apps is installed, the detector raises the threat score. You can then block a reward, show a warning, or run a punisher.
